After adapting its premises in Uplands over the last several decades, the Healthcare Management Trust decided that a new purpose-built facility was required to continue to offer the highest standards of healthcare in Swansea.
Taking two years to complete, the new £25m Sancta Maria hospital offers a range of improved facilities including on-site diagnostic equipment in the form of an MRI scanner and digital X-ray machine. It also has 12 en-suite patient bedrooms, three surgical theatres, endoscopy, an x-ray department and a dedicated day surgery unit.
Vistamatic provided 24no. 404 x 404 Vista Max mixed FD 60/FD 30/non-fire vision panels to the Swansea project, working with principal contractor Kier as well as door supplier Specialist Door Solutions.
